You may remember a few years ago that Indianapolis (and a whole lot of the northern US) experienced a terrible blizzard and ice storm. It was during that time; well as soon as the power was back on and planes were landing that is, that this beautiful project was born. The home was built for a family with active kids that liked to entertain. The goal was to create a home that was both casual and eclectic, with lots of areas for friends and family to relax. I stuck with an overall neutral palette and added in lots of texture and earthy elements. The living room sports chocolate lattice print wallpaper from Seabrook and four chairs clustered around a metal drum coffee table from Roost. An antique factory cart grounds the family room and is virtually indestructible. The large sun room acts does double duty as a breakfast and seating area. The basement houses the home office and areas as well as the requisite pool and poker table. Thanks to the weather, we had a lot of adventures on this install, but it was all worth it in the end. Enjoy!

Chocolate lattice wallpaper and a cluster of creamy chairs create a great conversation area. Pillows are from Heidi Devlin Designs on Etsy.

Cafe chairs (I obviously really like these things) surround an industrial style table in the breakfast room.

So glad you like it! I am glad that the sense of calm in the house came across in the photos.
