Design, Eat, Travel….Repeat!
This project was geared towards a young hip couple that were buying a house close in to Charleston, SC. My design plan was for bold color and pattern and an overall more contemporary (gently so, not sleek and chrome) feel. This is an example of lots of pattern and color mixing well together. The trick is to keep the colors consistant; blue, green, orange and yellow are displayed in every room in various doses. The initial inspiration for the shceme was from a great patterened fabric from Rowe which I used on the family room chairs. I would normally use a neutral wall throughout when going this bold, but here I opted to amp up the intensity and chose colored accent walls in many of the rooms. The overall look was fun, fresh and bold, but still comfortable and casual.
